Introduction
OVC, INC. is an online marketing firm focused on helping attorneys and law firms reach the people who need legal help. We respect the effort required to earn a law degree, build a practice, and deliver quality legal services. To support the next generation of attorneys who are committed to public service, we created the OVC, INC. Lawyers Give Back Scholarship.

Award
- Amount: $1,000
- Eligibility: Current or prospective law students who intend to serve underserved communities throughout their careers — through pro bono representation, educational workshops, community seminars, or similar efforts.
- Use of funds: Award may be applied to tuition and other education-related expenses at the school the recipient attends.

Who may apply
You are eligible to apply if all of the following are true:
- You are at least 18 years old.
- You are a citizen of the United States.
- Your cumulative GPA is 3.0 or higher.
- You are enrolled in an accredited U.S. undergraduate program or law school for the upcoming semester.

How to apply
Submit a video (approximately 2–3 minutes) addressing this prompt:
- Given the time pressures and demands of legal practice, how will you maintain a sustained commitment to pro bono work during your career? Explain how you plan to balance your professional duties with ongoing service to people who lack access to legal representation.

In addition to the video, include:
- An academic transcript
- A headshot (JPEG file)
- Contact details: full name, phone number, email address, and mailing address

Selection process
One recipient will be chosen by our review team. Applications are assessed based on:
- Creativity and originality
- Clarity of your vision for future service and professional goals
- Overall quality and substance of the video submission

Notification and publicity
- The winner will be notified by email no later than June 11, 2026.
- By accepting the award, the recipient agrees to allow OVC, INC. to use their name, photograph, and written response on our website and in promotional materials.

Payment disclaimer
OVC, INC. will send the scholarship check directly to the winner’s school financial aid office. Once mailed, it is the institution’s responsibility to post and distribute the funds to the student’s account. If your check appears delayed, please contact your university’s financial aid office first, as they typically control processing times.
