Farm Kids for College Scholarships

Introduction National Farmers established the Farm Kids for College scholarship more than 20 years ago to support the next generation pursuing careers in agriculture. Past recipients have gone on to study fields such as agronomy, agribusiness, dairy science, animal science, farm business and other agriculture-related majors. The program awards funds to students entering four-year universities as well as technical and community colleges with agricultural programs. Who is eligible - U.S. high school seniors (class of 2025) planning to enroll in an accredited college or university and major in an agricultural discipline. - Applicants must intend to pursue a degree in an agriculture-related field. Application requirements In addition to completing the two-page application form, applicants must submit: - Typed essays - Two letters of reference - Official high school transcript showing GPA - Official ACT or SAT score - A recent photograph Key dates and awards - Application materials for the 2025 Farm Kids for College Scholarship are available now. - All materials must be received by February 18, 2025. - Three national scholarship recipients will be selected; winners will be announced on April 15, 2025. - Award amounts for freshman year: $2,500 (first), $1,500 (second), and $1,000 (third).
