Intro Joieful Connections is committed to ensuring that young people of every ability have a chance to attend college or pursue other postsecondary education. Why this matters Higher education remains out of reach for many students with disabilities. With roughly 14% of public school students—about 7 million children—identified as having disabilities, expanding support for this population is essential so they can follow their postsecondary goals. Purpose of the scholarship This award is intended for students who have been diagnosed with a developmental and/or intellectual disability and wish to continue their education after high school. Eligibility - Any high school senior with a documented developmental or intellectual disability may apply. - Applicants living in Oregon will receive preference.
