Overview
The Hatton Lovejoy Scholarship Plan (undergraduate scholarships) exists to support and motivate deserving young men and women pursuing college education that prepares them for leadership and service in their communities.
Eligibility
- Applicants must have lived in Troup County, Georgia for a minimum of two years.
- Candidates must be graduates of an accredited high school, or scheduled to graduate within six months, and rank in the top 25% of their class academically.
Awards and Deadlines
- Up to ten scholarships may be awarded each year under the Hatton Lovejoy Scholarship Plan.
- The next application deadline is February 15, 2026.
History
Since the program began in 1965 and through 2025, the Hatton Lovejoy Scholarship Plan has distributed a total of $6.9 million in scholarship aid.
