Michigan Nurses Foundation Scholarship

Founded in 2000, the Michigan Nurses Foundation (MNF) promotes nursing and nursing education by providing scholarships, funding nursing research, and offering assistance to nurses recovering from substance use disorders or mental health conditions.
Eligibility (minimum requirements)
- Must be currently enrolled at a Michigan college or school of nursing.
- Must be in good academic standing and showing steady progress toward completing a degree or certificate.
Application process and requirements
- Every applicant must submit a complete application and meet all stated requirements to be considered. Applications that are incomplete or submitted after the deadline will not be reviewed.
- For consideration for the Fall 2026 semester, submit your completed application no later than June 1.
Review and award distribution
- The Scholarship Committee reviews applications and forwards its recommendations to the MNF Board of Directors for approval twice per year.
- Scholarship funds will be issued directly to the educational institution using the school mailing address provided on the application, after the semester begins.
