We administer several donor-funded scholarship programs that offer financial assistance to undergraduate and graduate students. Each award is designed to reflect the donor’s priorities—such as support for particular ethnicities, career paths, or personal backgrounds—and we work with benefactors to create meaningful ways to help students pursue their goals.

Banatao Family Filipino American Education Fund

Overview
- Annual award: $5,000, renewable for up to four years — maximum lifetime award $20,000.
- Donors: The family of Dado and Maria Banatao.

Eligibility
- Grade level: Rising college freshman who will be enrolled full-time at an accredited four-year college or university for the 2026–2027 academic year.
- Minimum cumulative GPA: 3.0.
- Eligible majors: Engineering, mathematics, computer science, environmental science, or physical science.
- Ethnicity: At least 50% Filipino heritage.
- Residency: California resident.

Important exclusion
- Applicants planning to enter health professions (for example, physicians, nurses, pharmacists, dentists, etc.) are not eligible.
