Overview
The American Culinary Federation Education Foundation, in partnership with the American Academy of Chefs, awards two scholarships each year. Each selected student will receive $2,500 annually for up to four years. These funds will be paid directly to the recipient’s account at their enrolled institution.
Award Details
- Number of awards: Two scholarships awarded annually.
- Amount and duration: $2,500 per year for four years.
- Disbursement: Payments are applied directly to the student’s institutional account.
Eligibility
Applicants must satisfy all of the following to be considered by the scholarship committee:
- Academic standing: Maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Graduation status: Be a high school senior eligible to graduate in the same year the scholarship is requested.
- Program acceptance: Have current acceptance to an institution and be enrolled with a major in culinary arts or pastry arts.
- Career objective: Intend to pursue a career as a chef or pastry chef.
Notification
Recipients will be informed of award decisions via email.
Renewal Policy
Scholarships are not automatically renewed. Past recipients who require assistance in subsequent years should submit a new application for consideration.
Revocation
The ACF Education Foundation reserves the right to rescind any award at any time if a recipient fails to maintain satisfactory academic progress, does not comply with scholarship requirements, or is found to have provided false information.
